I want to put on some shorty headers on a 83 camaro 305, can they just bolt on, without exhaust mods?

they make headers that will fit stock flanges. but in all reality you wont gain much with headers if you use the stock tiny w pipe that thing has. ran heddman headers and y pipe in my 3rd gen z28, they leaked like crazy, i tried every thing. but ,my 93 z28 has bbk headers and they dont leak at all so you get what you pay for.
