Caterering information.?

I want to be a caterer but i dont know where to start. im currently in college for culinary arts and i was wondering if i should start after i graduate. i need a local caterer to work for and talk to about how to get started...... does anyone know any caterers in macomb county that i can talk to. thanks for your help.....
